Biography

Ali Sadeghi (b. 1976, Ilam, Iran) is an Iranian painter whose practice centers on figurative painting and expressive compositions. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran in 2006. His first exhibition took place in 2003 at the UNESCO Palace Gallery in Beirut, followed by numerous solo and group exhibitions in Iran and internationally.

Sadeghi’s paintings often bring together fragmented figures, layered forms, and expressive gestures, creating compositions that explore human presence and psychological states. His works are primarily executed in acrylic on canvas, with a strong emphasis on painterly texture, color, and the tension between recognizable figures and abstraction.
