VAHID CHAMANI

Vahid Chamani (b. 1984, Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian painter whose academic training began at Tehran High School of Fine Arts and continued with a BA from Soureh Art University. He is also a member of the National Iranian Talent Foundation and has developed his practice through exhibitions in Iran and internationally.

Chamani’s work, particularly his Amino Acids series, explores the human condition through themes of cultural displacement and identity crisis. Working primarily in oil on canvas, his paintings often approach the figure through atmospheric, introspective compositions in which the body becomes a site of psychological and cultural tension.

His work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions, auctions, art fairs, and biennials in Iran and internationally, including events in the United States, France, the UK, Canada, Italy, Germany, and Turkey. Chamani has also received awards from national and international art festivals and biennials.
