Biography

Golnar Tabibzadeh (b. 1983, Tehran) is an Iranian visual artist, storyteller, art coach, and visual researcher based in Berlin. Her practice began with painting and has developed through a sustained engagement with real-life narratives, human experience, and the social conditions surrounding them.

Tabibzadeh’s paintings often draw from observations of everyday life and human relationships, using an expressive approach to reveal aspects of identity and experience beneath their outward appearance. In her more recent work, she has expanded her practice toward research-based projects addressing themes including womanhood, displacement, trauma, and personal memory.

She graduated with a BA in Visual Arts from Tehran Azad University of Arts and Architecture in 2005. Her work has been presented through solo and group exhibitions and artistic projects in Iran, Germany, Turkey, the UK, Spain, and the UAE.
