Biography
Abdolhamid Pazoki (b. 1955, Tehran) is an Iranian painter and art educator whose practice is rooted in expressive and abstract painting. His work explores the relationship between observation, emotion, and the transformation of lived experience into visual form.
Pazoki graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Tehran before continuing his studies in painting at the Faculty of Decorative Arts. He later moved to Spain, where he pursued postgraduate studies in printmaking and painting at the Complutense University of Madrid. He returned to Iran in 1991 and has since continued his artistic practice alongside teaching.
His paintings are characterized by an expressive approach to abstraction, with works often emerging through gestural lines, layered surfaces, and dynamic brushwork. His work has been exhibited in Iran and internationally and is represented in private and institutional collections. He has also participated in numerous exhibitions and his works have appeared at major Iranian art auctions.
